ABOUT US

NJ Ayuk is an international attorney, founder of Centurion Law Group (CLG), Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, and an author focused on African energy, investment, and economic development. He is the author of Billions at Play: The Future of African Energy and Doing Deals , Big Barrels: African Oil and Gas and the Quest for Prosperity, A Just Transition, and Crude Oil: Power, Turnaround and Transformation in Angola.

Throughout his career, he has advised companies, investors, and governments on investment strategies, joint ventures, regulatory frameworks, governance, local content development, and other matters related to Africa's energy sector.

Ayuk graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from William Mitchell College of Law in the United States. He also holds an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), the Institute for Energy Law (IEL), and the Petroleum Joint Venture Association (PJVA).

He has been recognized by legal and business publications, including Chambers, Who’s Who Legal, and Forbes, and has contributed to discussions on energy policy, investment, and economic development across Africa.
